A "collective" CALENDAR - if you want ...
Imagine having a central calendar where you could input the important dates of your life, and selectively choose the people who should be informed of those dates. On your Personal Website, you'll have a "My Events" section where you can input important upcoming events, whether they are repeating (such as birthdays or anniversaries) or one-time occasions. After you input the event, you decide what groups to share it with. The system automatically updates the calendar on the shared Community Website of that group and, if you choose to notify the group, sends out notifications to all of the members about the upcoming event.

So, with weishare.com, family and friends will "always" remember when birthdays and anniversaries are (or at least have no excuse), while co-workers and neighbors will stay informed about company picnics or block parties. Remember, weishare is flexible, so you can create the communities you want and then keep them up to date on appropriate events, as you decide.

By the same token, the other members of your communities will be able to keep you informed about the events in their lives, or your collective lives, that are upcoming.

It's the same with JOURNALS
Not only does weishare.com give you an easy way to keep a journal on your Personal Website, the system allows you to share that journal as you choose - either ALL of it, or only SELECT portions.

So if it's a personal diary that you don't want to share, you don't have to. It will be kept for your eyes only. But if it's, say, a journal you write to keep track of the development of your child, you can share that as you choose. What's more, that journal remains as a living record, both for you and the other communities.

Imagine being able to easily keep loved ones hundreds or thousands of miles away up to date on the amazing growth of your young child. They would be able to read about the first steps, the first teeth, the first words - all of those beautiful, amazing occasions that blossom so briefly.
